Enjoyment
The impressive ring gauge of 52 and the extended Robusto length of 135 millimeters ensure a quick introduction to the flavors typical of Montecristo. Nevertheless, the Edmundo remains almost harmless in the room and a little more subdued on the palate than the older cigars of this brand. The first third is earthy and creamy, only later do tertiary aromas such as undergrowth and (horse) stable appear. Fabulous workmanship ensures perfect draw, perfect temperature and straight burning. Uncomplicated, genuine Cuban smoking pleasure at a high, but not overly powerful level. Montecristo Edmundos can be smoked gratefully all the way to the ring and beyond.
